Me and my wife wanted a nice special holiday. So we said we will save and look for nice hotels. So we went to get some brochures to see what looked the best and we saw a lovely hotel with a nice pool and a nice bar. Sun tan and beer at the pool, sports bar to play pool, bowls, and bingo and all other things.
So we both said that’s the one we would like to go on. I said we’ll go the next day to ask about it and see how much its costs and everything else. So we said we can go and book it, and start looking forward to it, but not till next year. But that will soon come round.
It did and let me tell you it was a holiday we will not forget for all the wrong reasons. It was a real let down. The pool was poo and wee, the smell was making me feel sick. The sports bar was rats’ poo on the floor. All the pool tables were broke, the bowls were in half, the beer was flat, bingo was not on the calling, the chef was off ill.
It was the worst holiday. I would call it the holiday from hell. When we got home, I went to go to the travel place and asked what the hell is that hotel in there, it was dirty and it smelled and we did not remain there. We found another hotel that we wanted but we had to pay a lot more money. I hope we can get some money back. We should do so, now they have started the process. But it is hard. It takes time and we are still waiting for the money.
